- **On-Device Processing:** All image processing and optical character recognition (OCR) are performed entirely **on your device**. We do **not** upload, store, or transmit your images or camera video feed to external servers or cloud services.

### B. Device Storage and Local Data
- **My Vanity / Shelf Data:** Products, batch codes, calculated expiration dates, and opening dates that you save to "My Vanity" are stored exclusively in local application storage on your device.
- **Offline First:** Your personal cosmetic collection never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the export feature to export your data (e.g., CSV export).

### C. Automatically Collected Information & Advertising
To support ongoing maintenance and feature development, Batchi displays advertisements through third-party advertising partners:
- **Advertising Partner:** Yandex Mobile Ads (with Unity mediation).
- **Data Collected by Ad Partners:** Device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID / GAID), IP address, device model, operating system version, and approximate location may be collected by advertising SDKs in accordance with their respective privacy policies to deliver relevant ads and prevent ad fraud.

We use collected information solely to:
1. Provide accurate batch code decoding, calculate cosmetic expiration dates, and track period-after-opening (PAO).
2. Schedule local expiry reminder notifications (if enabled).

- **CAMERA (`android.permission.CAMERA`):** Required exclusively for scanning batch codes and product packaging in real time.
- **POST_NOTIFICATIONS / SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM:** Used to trigger local notifications reminding you when your cosmetic products are approaching their expiration date.
- **INTERNET (`android.permission.INTERNET`):** Used to load ad inventory and fetch remote batch code formula updates.
